This course is designed to provide duty solicitors with a practice and skills refresher. With a combined focus on police station attendances and first hearings in the Magistrates’ court, the course will analyse common problem areas and pitfalls in general criminal practice. The course is backed up by comprehensive notes that include relevant developments in the practice of a duty solicitor.
